This has truly been the worst experience I have ever had with a dental office. I initially made an appointment at Piedmont Dentistry to have my wisdom tooth evaluated. I was told to return the following day to have the tooth removed, and I paid for the extraction service that day. The next day, immediately before the procedure, a front-office staff member came into the room with a credit card machine and asked me to pay a previous balance. I made the payment and proceeded with the appointment. The dentist began the process of removing my wisdom tooth and administered the maximum amount of anesthesia she could provide. She then told me that she could not give me any additional anesthesia and that she could not sedate me because sedation was not offered at that office. At that point, she referred me to an oral surgeon. My concern is: If your office does not provide sedation and the dentist knew I would need to see an oral surgeon, why was I not referred to an oral surgeon in the first placeβ€”before beginning the extraction? Instead, the procedure was started and then stopped after I had already received anesthesia and was experiencing pain. Because the tooth was not removed, I ha

EDIT: I work in dentistry. I don’t need your bs response. I know he was a prophy and not SRP. This practice should’ve said from the beginning that he wouldn’t be receiving a cleaning. Also, he was not in pain so your response to that is invalid. Don’t push a $1400 procedure with someone that wanted a cleaning. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. ITS A MONEY GRABBING PRACTICE I sent my husband here because this place had great reviews but, straight off the bat the schedule was running 30 minutes behind. After having x rays done, they went straight to the exam. Nobody ever told my husband he was not going to get a prophy at any point. During the exam they pushed for him to have a root canal done even though he hadn’t had a cleaning in years. I’m sorry but shouldn’t a cleaning be priority? You don’t build a house on questionable foundation, so why would you want to do a root canal in a mouth that hasnt been cleaned? And if your policy could possibly be that you don’t do cleanings the same day as comps, why would that not be communicated to the patient? When my husband refused to get scheduled or have the root canal done at all, he said the attitude from the doctor shifted and she no longer

Piedmont Dentistry was absolutely awesome! The staff and service was impeccable. I am so thankful to have chosen this group to address my family's dental needs. I would recommend patients to give them a try if they are looking for a professional and courteous environment.

From the first call to the office inquiring about the Dr. and if she could handle anxious patience, this office made every effort to make me comfortable. The Dr. herself , got on the phone to assure me that she and her staff will do their best to make me comfortable and feel safe . Today I walked in for my first appointment and there was nothing but smiles, friendliness and a warm atmosphere ensuring that I would feel comfortable. I’m telling you , I have never seen anything like this in the medical field . I was not just a number or a πŸ’΅ but a human being with real fears to which they took seriously. Needless to say after not going to the dentist for over 20 years , I have some work to be done and at this point I am positive that this staff and Dr will care for me better than any other !

Piedmont Dentistry was a marvelous find. Hands down, they are the best at what they do, and from the receptionist to Dr. Williams, the staff is remarkable. The moment I met them, I knew I had come to the right place. The bedside manner, the treatment, and the financial business are all outstanding. You will not find a more caring and capable practice. They're more than diamonds in the rough, they're starsβ€”five stars!
